Intro
A unique marathon run across two continents: there is no other event in the world quite like the Istanbul Marathon! A transfer takes you to the start line on the Asian side of the city, where participants of the Vodafone Istanbul Marathon cross the Bosphorus Bridge into Europe. Along the course, runners pass many historic landmarks, including the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The finish line is located in Sultanahmet, at the heart of the European side of the city. If the full marathon distance feels too challenging, the 15K in Istanbul is also a great option!
