Intro
Participants in the Lanzarote Half Marathon are transferred to the start in Puerto del Carmen. This is the point where full marathon runners turn back towards Costa Teguise, which is why the half marathon route coincides entirely with the second half of the marathon. During the race, runners face some elevation changes, usually enjoy favorable weather conditions, and follow a scenic coastal course. Halfway through, they pass through Arrecife before reaching the finish line in Costa Teguise. An ideal race to wrap up the running year in December!
