Trail info

The 21.1-kilometer half marathon starts at the Reichsbrücke and winds through the center of Vienna. The course has been officially measured, and there are several cheering zones, aid stations, and water stations along the way.

The ARCOTEL Kaiserwasser is ideally located for the 2027 Vienna City Marathon. The start of the marathon and half marathon is at Wagramer Straße/Reichsbrücke, just a short distance from the hotel. The day before the marathon. No special activities are planned for today. The most important thing is to pick up your race bib at Vienna Sports World in the MARX HALLE. You can spend the rest of the day however you like. Vienna has a lot to offer in terms of history, culture, and architecture. Think, for example, of Schönbrunn Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Prater, or the many charming coffeehouses. Of course, it’s wise to get plenty of rest and prepare well for tomorrow’s race.

Marathon Day! Today is finally the day: the Vienna City Marathon is taking place. Starting at 9:00 a.m., the various starting waves will begin at the Reichsbrücke. After crossing the finish line, you’ll receive your medal as a lovely memento of this special athletic achievement. You can spend the rest of the day however you like and enjoy everything Vienna has to offer.

The last day of the trip. After breakfast, you’ll check out of the hotel and make your own way back home. By the end of this trip, you’ll have a medal—and, above all, a truly special marathon experience.
