Intro
The Lost City Mexico Marathon is not a standard marathon, but an adventurous journey across culture, nature and history. You will start your experience in bustling Mexico City, where you will discover iconic highlights, enjoy local cuisine and feel the energy of the capital city.
Then you'll travel to the rainforests of Chiapas for one rugged, completely off-road marathon. The course takes you over jungle trails, through river fords and past remote villages, with impressive Mayan ruins near Palenque as a literal highlight. Elevation changes, tropical conditions and unpaved trails make this a true Adventure Marathon, where experience is more important than finishing time.
After the race, there is opportunity to further explore Palenque or take optional excursions to waterfalls and other natural wonders. This makes the Lost City Marathon more than a race, it's a complete jungle experience you won't forget.
