Rho-Delta Travel B.V., trading as "Globalrunning.com", is responsible for the processing of your personal data. In this privacy statement, we explain which personal data we process, how we do so, and what rights you have.

What personal data?

When making a booking, you provide us with personal information such as your first and last name, your call sign, your date of birth, your gender, your nationality, your home address, your email address and your phone number. We will also ask you for contact information for those staying at home. We assume that you inform the people staying at home yourself that we have their details and will only use them in case of an emergency.

We need this data to process your booking, and the legal basis for the processing is thus the execution of the agreement between you and Globalrunning.com

You can also subscribe to the newsletter of Loopreizen.com. For this purpose, we process your first and last name and your e-mail address. The legal basis for processing is thus the consent given by you.

How long?

Regarding the personal data we process for your booking, we keep that personal data for seven years after the end of the year in which you made your booking. This is in connection with legal tax obligations. Thereafter, your personal data will be deleted.

Regarding the personal data we process for sending the newsletter, we will keep this personal data as long as you have given us permission. You can revoke your permission at any time via a link at the bottom of each newsletter, after which the processing of your personal data for the newsletter will be terminated.

Where?

We process your personal data within the European Union.

Photography

Globalrunning reserves the right to take photographs of visitors' use of the facilities for the purpose of using them for public communication. Globalrunning strives in such a case not to photograph visitors identifiably. If this does occur, we make a thorough balancing act between our interest in promoting marathon travel and the privacy interests of the person in the photo. If the outcome of balancing is that we use the photo we base this on the legal basis of our legitimate interest. We communicate the possibility of photos taken prior to the marathon trip to all travelers and allow them to object after which we remove the photo(s) in question.

Provision to third parties

To best deliver the travel product, we provide your personal data to third parties, such as hotels, airlines and the organizations issuing the start tickets.

If required by law to provide your personal data to a government agency, we will do so. In case of suspected fraud or abuse of our services, we may hand over personal data to the relevant authorities.

We do not provide your personal data to parties other than those mentioned above.

Security

We take appropriate security measures to best prevent misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data....

This statement does not apply to third-party websites that are linked to our website through links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of these websites before using them.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision making.

Children under 18 years of age

A person under the age of 18 cannot book a marathon trip with us. However, an adult can book a trip for themselves and where someone under the age of 18.

If we process personal data of children under the age of 16, we assume that this is done with the consent of a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify this. If you believe this is not the case, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can take appropriate action.

Your rights

You may send us a request to view, amend, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. You can also send us a request to have your data sent to you in digitally transferable format. And you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

When it comes to accessing personal data linked to a cookie as described in our cookie statement, you should send a copy of the cookie in question.

You can make such a request via privacy@globalrunning.com. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to identify yourself adequately when doing so.

If you have any complaints about our processing of your personal data, please let us know at privacy@globalrunning.com. We will then contact you. If you are still not satisfied, you of course always have the right to contact the Personal Data Authority.
