The combination of travel services offered to you constitutes a package holiday within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Consequently, you are entitled to all EU rights applicable to package holidays. Globalrunning.com is fully responsible for the proper execution of the entire package holiday. Globalrunning.com also possesses the statutory protection required to reimburse you and, if transport is included in the package holiday, to repatriate you in the event of its insolvency.
Before the traveller concludes the package holiday agreement, he/she receives all essential information regarding the package holiday.
If the insolvency of Globalrunning.com occurs after the start of the package holiday and transport is included in the package holiday, arrangements will be made for the traveller's repatriation. Globalrunning.com is affiliated with the guarantee fund of the Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden (SGR), whereby the traveller is protected against the insolvency of Globalrunning.com. If services are not provided due to the insolvency of Globalrunning.com, travellers can contact SGR via email at sgr@sgr.nl or by telephone at +31 10 414 6377.
In the event of travel services that have not been performed or have not been performed properly, the traveller is also entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation. Loopreizen.nl is obliged to provide assistance to travellers who are in difficulties. Globalrunning.com is affiliated with the Calamity Fund of the General Dutch Association of Travel Companies, which offers protection in the event of external calamities that make a trip impossible or seriously disrupt it. The fund steps in if a trip cannot proceed or must be cancelled due to, for example, natural disasters, war, epidemics, and pandemics. In that case, the traveller may claim a refund of the travel sum if the trip does not proceed, and a contribution towards additional costs if the traveller has to return earlier. If the services are not performed in accordance with the agreement and this has significant consequences for the execution of the package tour and the organiser has not remedied this problem, the traveller may terminate the package tour agreement without payment of a termination fee.
If, after the start of the package tour, significant elements of the package tour cannot be provided as agreed, a suitable alternative arrangement must be offered to the traveller without additional costs.
In addition, the traveller may terminate the agreement at any time before the start of the package tour upon payment of an appropriate and justified termination fee.
The traveller may terminate the agreement before the start of the package tour in exceptional circumstances without payment of a termination fee, for example when there are serious safety problems at the destination that are likely to affect the package tour.
In the event that one of the essential elements of the package tour, with the exception of the price, is significantly changed, the traveller may terminate the agreement without payment of a termination fee and will receive a full refund. Globalrunning.com cancels the package holiday before the start of the package holiday, the traveller is entitled to a refund and, where appropriate, to compensation.
The traveller may transfer the package holiday to another person, subject to a reasonable period of notice and possibly against payment of additional costs.
The traveller will receive an emergency telephone number or contact point details through which he can contact Globalrunning.com.
Liability for the proper performance of all travel services included in the agreement always rests with Globalrunning.com.
