The Stockholm Half Marathon is Sweden's largest half marathon and attracts participants from more than 90 countries. Start and finish are in the historic center, near the impressive Stockholm Palace.
The course travels across several of the city's islands, past water, historic buildings and modern neighborhoods. Thanks to the relatively flat profile and generally cool temperatures in September, fast times are quite possible here. At the same time, the varied scenery makes for a special running experience.
